Customer story · Libeert
How Libeert, with 180 employees, went from twice-yearly reviews to daily follow-up.
TL;DR: Libeert, a chocolate maker with 180 employees in Comines, used to follow up on its people through scattered messages, emails and a tool that opened twice a year. With Skoop, everything is in one place, the platform was up and running within a few hours, and team managers use it every day without any training.

The challenge: information everywhere except in one place
Libeert employs 180 people, from management to production. Anyone who wanted to follow up on an employee found the information scattered: a message on Teams, an email, a Word document somewhere on a drive. Team managers kept their review points in their own notes.
The previous tool did little to help. It came out once or twice a year for review conversations, and came with a manual nobody read.
“It used to be a message on Teams, an email, something in a Word document. Today, everything about a specific employee comes together in Skoop. All information, neatly captured in the platform.”

Why Libeert chose Skoop
Four things tipped the balance for Libeert compared to their previous tool.
Intuitive without a manual
The previous tool required a manual nobody read. With Skoop, team managers get started on their own right away.
Built for daily use
Skoop is an interactive platform for weekly feedback and notes, not a static system for two moments a year.
All information in one place
Input from HR, colleagues and the team manager comes together, instead of being scattered across Teams, email and documents.
Up and running in hours
Libeert handed the login to two team managers and tested if the managers could organise their reviews without further explanation. Things worked like a charm.
The approach: no manual, just a link
Libeert opted for a fast, practical start. Employee data was imported effortlessly and a template library with sample performance reviews was provided, for HR to adapt to the questions Libeert wanted to cover in its performance conversations. Within a few hours, the platform was up and running.
Then came the rollout, first in two departments: Finance and Customer Service. No training, no manual. Team managers received the link and the message that, from now on, they would run the reviews within their own team.
“Nobody likes reading manuals. We picked two departments and simply sent them the link to Skoop. And, lo and behold, it went super smooth.”

How team managers use Skoop every day
For Camille, marketing manager at Libeert, Skoop isn't a tool for two moments a year. She uses it for her team's reviews, but also for weekly updates, quick notes after a conversation and communication with HR.
What Camille values most:
One platform for everything: Input from HR, from colleagues and from the manager sits together. No more loose notes.
Capture weekly feedback: After a conversation with someone on the team, you easily capture right away what was discussed.
Notes for yourself: What you note down for yourself stays 100% private unless you decide otherwise
“I used to have my own notes for each employee where I wrote things down. Now everything is on one platform: input from HR, from colleagues and from yourself.”

A head start from AI for every (review) conversation
Preparing a review conversation used to mean gathering everything together. In Skoop, a team manager never walks into a conversation unprepared because Skoop summarizes all relevant context and helps the manager on its way. The right questions at the right time.
“A pure time-saver. You immediately get a head start to prepare your talk.”

Summary
Libeert is a chocolate manufacturer with 180 employees. Employee follow-up used to live in a static review tool, supplemented by Teams messages, emails and Word documents. With Skoop, everything is in one place. The platform was up and running within a few hours, and Finance and Customer Service rolled it out without training or a manual. After two weeks, Libeert decided to onboard the entire company. Today, team managers use Skoop daily for feedback, notes and reviews, and prepare conversations with the help of the AI agent.
